Django Django concert at XOYO in London (27/2/12). Flix1202 worked with artist Kim Coleman, producing and performing her live video content and stage set for the band Django Django.

A simple edit of short excerpts of the live set, designed to profile the video elements utilised for each song.

We aimed not to have one visual style, but a sense of continuity through different video approaches and styles mixed in.

So we utilised re-mixed film samples, analogue lighting based elements Kim made and filmed with the band, and styles from her own video artwork practice, which we then further refined for the live concert experience combined with more mesmeric VJ visuals made to order by myself.

The set is then mixed live during the concert using vj’ing software, allowing it to feel responsive to the music and environment.
